                                  Nothing could be more effective at indicating to prospective residents and investors that Swift Current is a city of the past rather than the future. This certainly diminishes one Swift Currents natural assets -the night sky.

                                The other business in Swift Current have laws in which control signage and the likes. This not the time or the place for such a hit on the environment. Canadians are really losing sight of the great natural environment we have. Light pollution is pollution and this also seems to be a waste of electrical resources. Did we build the wind power turbines to allow for this kind of waste? Get a grip SIGA and all governments involved!!!!

                            It is nice to see the northern lights over the winter months,yes even from my back yard in the City,this Casino will hinder that and many other small pleasures in our fair City. Please rework the display as you need to respect the enviroment most of all.

                            This excessive use of electricity for casino spotlights can not be allowed. Governments can not ask people to do everything possible to save energy in their homes and then allow this kind of waste on frivolous ventures. Global warming is real and we need to make intelligent decisions in order to protect our planet for future generations.

                          is facing the Casino and I am concerned that the light as well as the noise from it will be very disturbing. I think our city has made a huge mistake in voting to have this built here or for that matter anywhere. I do my part to conserve energy and am saddened that an organization such as this has a complete disregard for the environment.

                        I would like SIGA to change their plans for light advertising in the Swift Current area. There is no need for that kind of light pollution in either form - in annoyance or in CO 2 into our atmosphere not to mention costs. If the Casino isn't a success without that additional advertising, then it shouldn't be there. That kind of waste should be illegal in this day and age.

                  Surely at a time when all humans are being called upon to save our resources, this huge display is inappropriate and careless. Please stop it and bring in new legislature that bans this excess use of energy for frivolous persuits.
